Now if there was ever a woman that should have been wrote about, it's my maternal grandmother Eula. One of the nicest people you would have ever met and her sausage gravy was to die for.
Eula Akers was born in Virginia in 1922 to William Akers and Vennie Lee Bourne. She married Garnett Hancock, son of Burrell Hancock and Ida Linville. Eula had 11 children and 5 siblings.
She passed away in 2002.
